Powder loss-in-weight feeder

The Loss In Weight Feeder by Safmak is a continuous dosing system suitable for various applications in industry. The system continuously feeds powder and granular materials. It functions like a weigh belt feeder, and targets a particular feeding amount within a certain period of time.

The feeder is placed in a fully closed box. It is equipped with an upper valve, which opens when the amount of material in the weigh bunker is within a low limit. The silo features a refilling time within 15 to 20 seconds.

The system operates with a constant velocity due to absence of weight control. It calculates the amount of material reduced in a given time, and directs the number of cycles of the motor.
