The CTV 250 / linear is mainly used for serial manufacturing and production. It is compactly designed machine with footprint dimesion of 5.3 m2, and chip-to-chip rating of less than 5 seconds. Its internal workpieces can be controlled through its touch probes. All of its axes, precision controls and drives are positioned within the spindle area.

Its Z-axis stroke enables machining to have low re-tooling necessities for both short and long workpieces. It can tolerate workpieces with the height ranging from 5 up to 210 mm and diameters ranging to 160/220 mm. The rotational speed of its driven tools is 4000. It may come with a 19"-screen and Siemens ShopTurn for program generation integrated with 3D-simulation.
