Alpine spiral jet mills are created to reduce dry materials with a crystalline structure and a MOhs' hardness of up to 3, into ultrafine particles with dimensions between 5 to 30 µm. With its special grinding chamber geometry, the resulting products are in minute particle distributions. The Alpine Spiral Jet Mills are often employed in operations dealing with active pharmaceutical substances including parenteralia, DPIs (dry powder inhalants) and other active substances.
