Shape and contour measuring machine

The PLu apex is an optical profiler used for gauging any optical surface from aspheric to flat or free-form. This is especially useful for measuring optics.

Its enhanced design, based on the Sensofar's Confocal Tracking technology, enables non-contact and adequate precision a quick measurement of up to 1 mm/s. The unit is offered with an accurate XY crossed-roller bearings stage, and sufficient power aspheric-curve analysis software, including a quick, simple-to-use sample alignment machinery.

The Apex can meet all challenging metrology regulations for huge samples with an XY measurement range of up to 100x100 mm, up to 50 mm Z measurement range and up to 65º slope angle. Non-contact metrology serves a key role in aspheric, and free-form optics manufacturing industries.
