The C2 inspection machine for foreign matter can inspect ampoules, carpoules and vials up to 39mm diameter at a speed up to 12,000 pcs/hr.

Machine is equipped with digital CCD cameras for double particles inspection, filling level check, and for inspection of ampoules tip and vials alucap sealing.
C2 can be provided with two possible illuminations both by long life, high power LED: that is with bottom light (Tyndall effect) and matrix camera or with a new patented backlight system and linear camera. Configurations can be chosen for best according to customer production defects. This unique possibility guarantees a much more accurate and reliable inspection of containers.
Movement of machine is intermittent; containers are spun at high speed and suddenly stopped to allow twirling of particles inside the liquid; while the container is stopped, camera acquires several images and elaborates them with a powerful image subtraction algorithm.
The control system is based on Siemens PLC, while all signals, production data, alarms and parameters are displayed and memorized on a touchscreen PC performing also the image processing.
