Secondary conveyor belt cleaner

The adhesive material is cleaned from the belt using a torsion stripper. The pressure is transfered to the cutter through lever cranks by the torsion stretch elements that generate contact pressure. The various strip cutters are carried by the slightly bent ducter strip.

The stripper works around 50 -100mm off-center from the pulley to avoid getting detached from the complete belt due to unevenness in or on the belt. This helps the belt to escape unevenness locally upwards thereby allowing the stripper to work on the balance of the length. The stripper cutter is positioned at a right angle to the belt and is ideally suitable.

If required it can be fixed in a slightly grating position. The availability of various forms of constuction in which torsion strippers are the rubber pad blanking and sintered carbide cutter. Depending on the type of adhesion the respective form of construction is selected.
