Extremely fine abrasive media is propelled through very small nozzles which is used in micro-abrasive blasting process . As the abrasive media is quite small even the tiniest particle of moisture can clog the powder by clumping it and prevent it from flowing freely from the tank and thus halting the entire operation. For micro-abrasive blasting just clean dry shop air is inadequate. The compressed air source must have a dew point of -25°F for a free flowing abrasive media flow. Unnecessary repairs and things are caused due to the stoppage happening because of the stoppages of moist air.
