Heatless desiccant compressed air dryer

Officine Meccaniche HL series heatless adsorption dryers are suitable for several industrial applications in need of top-quality compressed air, such as pharmaceutical, chemical and laboratory facilities. The adsorption desiccant dryer provides a -40°C dew point air, necessary for similar applications.

The adsorption item, comprising the charge of the tank, first holds compressed air humidity. It is then removed in the regeneration phase. At the same time, the desiccated and filtered compressed air is conveyed to the distribution network. The withdrawal of a small part of desiccated air causes regeneration. This air is then transferred to the tank to be regenerated.

It is recommended to use Type HF coalescence pre-filters on the inlet. That's because removal of the inlet's contaminated elements play a key role in the service life and performance of the dryer. Also recommended is a PF type after-filter on the outlet for removal of dust formed in the tank's interior.
