HSC 55 linear is the modern classification of High Speed cutting with accelerations of > 2g. The HSC 55 linear fix new specifications pertaining to high speed cutting applications of graphite electrodes as much as hard machining.

Like no other machine within this discipline, the HSC 55 linear complies with almost all demands for the HSC processing which is ideal for chip-intensive roughing. In the standard edition, the HSC 55 linear features an HSC spindle with 28, 000rpm along with HSK-A63. Thus, it delivers high stableness throughout machining, extended lifetime, cheaper tool prices along with much better surfaces of the workpiece.

It is available in motor spindles with 20, 000rpm as well as 49, 000rpm usually. Linear drives in all axes assure accelerations greater than 2g, speedy traverses of 80 m/min along with maximum accuracy.

The fixed table plus the suggested swivel rotary table with rotary rates of 110rpm are driven double-sides in Y.
