The HSC 20 linear SAUER is a micro and precision machining center. It is highly compact with 3.5 m2 footprint. All of the axes has a linear drive with an acceleration of > 2g and Ra 0.2 µm surface qualities to create excellent precision and dynamics. It can be upgraded up to 5 axis simultaneously because it is equipped with integrated swivel or rotary table stands that makes it very flexible.
The SB 42 working spindle is watercooled and suitable for various materials for different applications in the HSC sector. The stable mineral fiber stand provides maximum vibration absorption, stability and stiffness. The optional HSC 20 linear can be upgraded with an integrated linear magazine with 99 pallets maximum, 60-fold automatic tool changer and an extensive package for graphite manufacturing.
