Cutting motor spindle / liquid-cooled

The series 800 motor grinding spindles are a powerful spindle system with liquid-cooled drive incorporating state-of-the-art design.
Thanks to its high precision and stability, this spindle is especially suited for all machining tasks which require higher cutting speeds. We manufacture those spindles exclusively from special materials satisfying the exacting requirements involved. The concentricity on the taper is Bearings
The bearing used by us are exclusively high-precision ball bearings with ceramic balls installed under pre-load. Thus, we achieve enhanced wearing characteristics and higher maximum speeds.
Rotation
Thanks to our locking device on the ­taper, our grinding spindles can be operated in CW and CCW mode. However, the use of our original accessories is a prerequisite.
Lubrication
Grease life-time lubrication
Motor
The device is driven by a liquid-cooled variable-speed asynchronous motor.
The motor can be controlled to maximum frequency via a frequency converter.
PTC thermistors in the motor winding are provided for temperature monitoring purposes.
Cooling
Heat dissipation is controlled via an integrated cooling circuit in the vicinity of the motor winding.
