Electric stage / XY

The high-precision and high-speed XY stages from Smac vary from units with compact overall dimension of only 65 mm x 65 mm x 81 mm. They provide drive zero backlash systems, controllable with comprehensive precision and repeatability.

The stages are supplied with 5-µm encoders, complete with options down to 0.05-µm encoder resolution rates. This delivers accurate positioning and scanning for industries such as bio-science, medical and photonics.

The units are also utilized to measure quality in automotive and other industrial automation operations. The ability to control the velocity, acceleration, positioning and force of every axis individually, provides the operator versatile and precise instruments.
