The Nano-Bio Series utilize an ultra low profile, which is extremely beneficial to two axis nanopositioning systems as the low profile design permits easy integration into established inverted microscopes, AFMs and other forms of instrumentation that have limited space. The units feature a large center aperture that allows the Nano-Bio to be fitted with the lenses of all major microscope manufactures, and the devices come with an internal position sensor with proprietary PicoQ® technology providing users with an absolute repeatable measurement and picometer accuracy, which is under closed loop feedback control.

The Nano-Bio100, Nano-Bio200, and Nano-Bio300 are all manufactured from durable and reliable aluminum, and are extremely suitable for optical microscopy, while the invar Nano-Bio2M features increased thermal stability and a reduced size, making it perfect for instruments using the Veeco NanoScope controllers.
